McAllen FD Hosts Food Drive to Help Families On Thanksgiving

In preparation for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, and as an outreach to our community, the McAllen Fire Department is accepting donations of non-perishable food items through Friday, November 11, 2011.

The general public and all City of McAllen employees are welcomed to donate at the following drop-off designations:

  • Fire Administration/EOC, 201 N. 21st St. (Lobby), Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Station 1, 201 N. 21st St., Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 2, 2811 N. Main, Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 3, 213 E. Dallas, Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 4, 2800 S. 10th, Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 5, 5521 N. 23rd St., Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 6, 5500 S. 23rd St., Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Station 7, 8209 N. Bentsen Rd., Mon-Sun, 8:00 am-6:00 pm
  • Public Works Building, 4201 N. Bentsen Rd., Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5pm

Your donations are greatly appreciated and are expected to make a difference for many families in our community this holiday season.
