Mayor Richard F. Cortez, County Judge Ramon Garcia & Postal Union to Host News Conference on Proposed Closure of McAllen Mail Processing Facility

McAllen Mayor Richard F. Cortez, Hidalgo County Judge Ramon Garcia and local Postal Union President Cindy Martinez plan to address the media on Monday, about a proposal by the U.S. Postal Service to consolidate McAllen’s Area Mail Processing (AMP) facility into Corpus Christi.

A news conference is scheduled for Monday at 2 pm, at McAllen City Hall, inside the City Commission Chambers, on the 3rd Floor. McAllen City Hall is located at Main & Houston, in downtown McAllen.
