Palmfest 2010 This Weekend At McAllen Convention Center

Palmfest, known for its famed fajita cook-off, heritage village, arts and crafts mercado and non-stop live music, is set for this weekend at the McAllen Convention Center.

Admission and parking is free and the event begins at noon on Saturday, October 2nd and on Sunday, October 3.

Among some of the featured performers are Nuevo Latinos, Highway 7, Grupo Iman and Lil Rob, Marshall Law, the South Texas Indian Dancers and a host of other entertainers performing on 3 stages.

Specials guests also include Garfield and Odie, actress Jessica Romero and Director Alan Jacobs from the Hollywood movie "Down for Life", and Al Ragusin and his dancing horses.
