Vipers to Help Paint McAllen Beautiful on Saturday

MCALLEN, TEXAS – The defending NBA DevelopmentLeague champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced Friday that they will takingpart in the Paint McAllen Beautiful Project on Saturday by painting a house at707 Kennedy Avenue in McAllen from 9:00 a.m-to-12:00 p.m.

The entire Vipers roster will be participatingin this event.

The Vipers have already taken part in morecommunity events this season than last season, when they led the league with163 appearances. The Vipers are on pace to make more than 200 communityappearances this season.

Vipers Director of Community Relations Liana Cisneros does a great job ofkeeping us involved in the community. We think the most important thing we dohere is give back to those who have given so much to us. We truly believe thatthe residents of the Rio Grande Valley are not just our fans, but our friendsand family as well,” Vipers President BertGarcia said.
