Vipers Looking to Win Twice on Wednesday

MCALLEN, TEXAS – The defending NBA DevelopmentLeague champion Rio Grande Valley Vipers announced Wednesday that, if they beatthe Iowa Energy on February 2, all fans in attendance will win tickets to the nextVipers home game.

The first-ever Double-Win Wednesday begins at7:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena. Doors open at 6:00.

If the Vipers win, fans can exchange theirticket stubs for tickets to the Vipers game against the Austin Toros onWednesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. at State Farm Arena. Only tickets that havebeen used will be eligible for trade-in. Some restrictions may apply to thelocation of the seats for the February 16 game.

The Vipers are 11-2 at State Farm Arena thisseason and 13-2 in the Rio Grande Valley. The Vipers are winners ofsix-straight home games and eight-straight in the Rio Grande Valley. The Vipershave the best home record in the league for the second-straight season. TheVipers are currently on a franchise-record 10-game winning streak. At 17-7, theVipers have the third-best record in the NBA Development League and sit insecond place in the Western Conference standings, two games behind the Tulsa66ers.

“We’ve been winning a lot lately, and we wantour fans to benefit from our success on the court, the way our players benefitfrom them. We have the best fans in the league, and that has contributedgreatly to out great home court advantage. The Iowa Energy are a very goodteam, but so are we, and with the help of our rabid fans, I have no doubt thatwe can accomplish our goal of winning twice on Wednesday,” Vipers President Bert Garcia said.

There will be concessions specials throughoutthe game, including hot dogs, popcorn and soda for $1.00 each as well as beerfor $1.50.

Fans can enter the game for free by donating tothe Hoops Against Hunger food drive. Every donation of four non-perishable fooditems will be rewarded with one free ticket.
